Tanabata Festival

Celebrate this traditional summer festival by decorating a sasa branch and writing your wish onto a colourful paper streamer. Come enjoy a little summer festival of omikoshi, bon-odori, taiko and water balloons, fi shing, and candy floss. Come dressed in a yukata, or get dressed up in one at the Nikkei Centre. Suitable for families with children 3-10 years old. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

短冊に願い事を書いて笹を飾ったり、ご家族で日本の夏祭りをお楽しみください。御神輿や盆踊り、太鼓、ヨーヨー釣り、魚釣り、綿菓子などをお楽しみ 頂けます。浴衣でのご来場、または日系センターで着て頂くこともできます。3歳〜10歳のお子様がいるご家族にぴったりの催しです。お子様は保護者同伴で お願いします。
