Charlie Sheen: unemployed winner keeps on winning
In case you didn't know, Charlie Sheen is winning. And if you've been following the latest Sheen drama and his daily musings, you too might know that aside from the Japanese earthquake and tsunami, he is the talk of the town.
Sheen's public spirals downward (including the loss of his job with Two and a Half Men and his talk of "banging seven-gram rocks") are anything but pleasant to watch.
He has even admitted to being on another kind of drug: "It's called Charlie Sheen."
Just this Thursday, according to the Hollywood Reporter, the Los Angeles police searched Sheen's home for weapons. "His attorney told THR that police confiscated an antique gun from the 1800s along with 'a few bullets.'"
Oh, Charlie.
What other sheen-anigans can he get into?!
But his fame has anything but dwindled. "He set a Guinness World Record, amassing 1 million Twitter followers in just over one day," reported Toronto Sun. He now has 2, 619, 702 followers.
"Sheen posted he was searching for a 'winning intern with Tiger Blood.' It’s an eight-week summer job for someone who can help him 'leverage his social network.'"
He has big plans. As reported in the Wall Street Journal, "the embattled actor is taking it to the stage."
"'Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat is Not an Option Show' has just two dates scheduled: April 2 at Detroit's Fox Theatre and the next night at the Chicago Theatre. Tickets go on sale Saturday for $45 to $84, including fees."
And "after years of being at the mercy of a decaying troll, charliesheen.com is finally in the hands of its Warlock owner. Go now! - @charliesheen (Sheen's latest Tweet)
