Mexican Food That's Really Authentic

This restaurant owned by a family from Guadalajara in Port Moody will satisfy your cravings for real enchilladas etc.
The interior looks like a museum on Mexican living, with colourful dresses, sombreros, and carpets on the walls, with heavy wooden tables and benches or chairs to host your dinner party. We were served by the daughter of the owner and it was one of the few times when I felt like my server actually cared if I liked the food.
And I did.
It was a perfect blend of traditional Maxican flavours: cumin, lime, and cilantro covering my fresh seafood, bean and rice mixture.
The owners shared a bit of their life in Mexico with us and why the place is called Charlie's/Carlos. And I suggest you visit them and find out the story for yourself after you have a plate of their real tacos!
