Meena Wong

Born in Beijing, Meena Wong moved to Hong Kong during the Cultural Revolution, then to Canada for university. She worked for the Toronto Star, and worked as assistant to then-MPP Rosario Marchese and then-Toronto City Councillor Olivia Chow.

In 2011, she ran for the federal NDP in Vancouver South, and in 2014 was COPE's mayoral candidate. She is currently a mental health support worker for Vancouver Coastal Health.
