Libby Davies is the NDP MP for Vancouver East. She has a long history as a community activist, helping to found the Downtown Eastside Residents' Association (DERA) with her late husband in 1973. Since she was elected as the Member of Parliament for Vancouver East in 1997, she has raised issues of concern including housing, community safety, post-secondary education and drug policy reform.
