After 11 years of bringing you local reporting, the team behind the Vancouver Observer has moved on to Canada's National Observer. You can follow Vancouver culture reporting over there from now on. Thank you for all your support over the years!

Chris Lane

Chris Lane studies at the UBC Graduate School of Journalism, having recently moved back to his hometown of Vancouver. He previously studied geography and psychology at McGill because he likes maps and brains. As a former student of the social sciences, he likes to write about academic research, urban planning, health, or anything else, really. As a former actor, he reviews and writes about theatre. Like most journalists, he follows politics diligently, so he writes about that, too.
