Alice Zhou

Alice Zhou is a multi-talented event producer and publicist. She brings a spotlight to her clients for more brand awareness through events, press and social media. She is the winner of 2007 Cultural DiverseCity Youth Enterpreneur Business Award, and a graduate of Simon Fraser University with a degree in Communications. She has orchestrated a variety of functions in her career ranging from conference, product launch, grand opening, tradeshow, fundraising gala, and live/silent auction. She has taught several Events Management courses at Vancouver Community College, and had her articles published in the Vancouver View Magazine. Her clients include the Greater Vancouver Real Estate Board, Credential Ethical Fund, BC Federation of Foster Parents, BC Aviation Council, East is East Chai Restaurants and Greentail Environmental Inc.

Her passion for building relationships and creating a massive network, to provide resources and information to help facilitate additional entrepreneurship got her to create a Business Social Club aptly named Social Butterfly Club 9 years ago, currently at 2,800 members in the Lower Mainland. She is rather active in the community; currently a volunteer for Dress for Success. Alice also speaks regular to various civic groups on the topic of "Networking", "Event Management", "Social Media", and "How to become a Public Speaker".  She is a registered trainer with the Chamber of Learning Network providing coaching and guidance for new startup entrepreneurs.
