“We” and Me can plan ahead to take Transit

Thousands of school children are planning on taking transit to “We Day Vancouver” on Tuesday, Sept.29th.

The Event is being held at GM Place and doors will open to the public at 8:00 AM and the event is scheduled to end at approximately 2:30 PM.

It is expected that there will be more people on the transit system particularly in the morning commute. A reminder to customers that conditions may be busier than normal and that we all need to share the system. It is advised that people give themselves some extra time in the morning commute in the event that there may be some minor delays.

Some schools will be using public transit buses, particularly out of South Delta on the 601 route to Bridgeport Station. Transit Supervisors will be out monitoring passenger loads with the ability to call in extra reserves if the demand is high.
