After a vocal-cord surgery, Keith Urban returns to the stage in February for his first public performance since recording a song for the "CMA Country Christmas'' television special in November.

The New Zealand-born country singer-songwriter had a polyp removed from his pipes at Vanderbilt University Medical Center late last year and has been on vocal rest ever since.

Urban was forced to postpone his "All For The Hall'' benefit concert for the Country Music Hall of Fame in January and has rescheduled the conclusion of his 2011 concert tour for later this year.

The Grammy-award winner will perform on February 3 on the Grand Ole Opry at the Ryman Auditorium. Next, he's scheduled to  sing at the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo on February 11, before returning on the Grand Ole Opry in March.

"Jay-Z - Glory ft. Blue Ivy Carter", YouTube video by

Superstars Beyoncé Knowles and Jay-Z's first child Blue Ivy Carter has been making headlines since before she was even born. Now, the less-than-a-week-old is making Billboard history, thanks to her rapper dad who featured her on his new song, "Glory."

"One of Hip-Hop's Greatest Love Songs" will enter Billboard's chart at No. 74, next week. Blue Ivy is the youngest person to ever appear on Billboard, according to the music chart. The song has since gone viral.

"The most amazing feeling I feel/ Words can't describe what I'm feeling for real/ Maybe I paint the sky blue/ My greatest creation was you, you, Glory," says J-Hova's chorus for the last time, with baby Blue's cries and gurgles at the tag end of the song.

After Beyoncé Knowles' post-performance belly rub at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards back in late August, the whole world seemed to have kept tabs on the mom-to-be. Suddenly, it was as though the whole world was expecting -- expecting power singer and Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter's baby, that is. And speculations as to whether their first child would be boy or a girl looked to be growing as fast as Knowles' belly.

When MSN Travel dumped Vancouver in one of the world's three "worst-dressed cities" category, it blamed our bad look on certain "insanely popular yoga gear brand which will go unnamed."

If you're looking at and/or holding a grudge against
Lululemon Athletica Inc. (because which yoga brand is more "insanely popular," really?) for our city's fashion fail, you might be happy to know that founder Chip Wilson, the man behind the pants that let women's "wobbly bits and fat deposits" all hang out, has stepped down from the executive position at the famous yoga retailer.

The Girl Who Played with Fire: Charlton library sends cop to get five-year-old's overdue books

After five-year-old Hailey neglected to return her two library books on time, Charlton Public Library summoned local police force to find the dangerous library book offender and seize those books.

While there must not be a lot going on in the town of Charlton, the library's unbending decision kindled a firestorm of  criticism.

"I thought it was way overboard," her mom Shannon Benoit said in the video.

"I closed the door, I looked at my daughter, and she started crying, and I said, 'What's the matter?" and she goes, "Is that police man going to arrest me?"

Needless to say, the terrified girl burst into tears.

The titles were found and returned, but Benoit said that sending law officers to their house was like "pounding a ten-penny nail with a sledge hammer."

Even police sergeant Daniel P. Dowd, who was responsible for returning the books, wasn't too eager about the visit.

Did the officials go too far?

The GOP turns to G-O-D

Democracy doesn't faze American politicians - only God's vote matters.

In Canada, religion and politics don’t usually mix. Despite the fact that Conservative Prime Minister Stephen Harper is an evangelical Christian – the most openly religious politician to hold that position in decades – polls have  shown that Canadians are increasingly uncomfortable about religious values in government.

In the United States, on the other hand, it seems God consistently has a starring role in political news…especially when it comes to the Republican presidential race.
