Olla Urban Flower Project: Vancouver's first fair trade flower shop

Megan Branson, Director of Olla Urban Flower Project, delivered the flowers herself.
The plant and flower shop, which is located in the Downtown Eastside (DTES), buys local and ethically traded plants and flowers. It also provides job opportunities to DTES residents, works towards zero-waste, hosts monthly workshops on plant and flower designs and even drops off the no-longer-wanted corporate event flowers to non-profit organizations in the DTES.
Their flower arrangements are exceptional, as VO discovered today (see arrangement in Megan Branson's hands, pictured above). They work well for corporate and non-profit events, private functions, and day to day living.
