Shooting on West 10th Ave.

Police are investigating an early morning shooting in the 500 block   West 10^th Avennue that has sent one man to hospital with an injury to his leg.  

Just before 6:30 a.m..,   Vancouver   police responded to a report of a man being shot inside a suite in the 500 block West 10^th Avenue.

Officers found a man in his 30’s suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg. He was taken to hospital and is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The victim is known to police, according to a VPD press release and is not being cooperative with the investigation. There are currently no suspects. Officers have cordoned off the area to process the scene. The motive for the shooting is unknown, but early indications are that it was targeted.
