East Vancouver stabbing lands two in custody

A man was arrested for allegedly stabbing another man near 1800 Franklin in East Vancouver last night just before midnight. Investigation is still underway but police also arrested the victim for allegedly assaulting another adult during a preceding altercation.
 
Vancouver Police reported to a call concerning a fight between several people that ended in a man being stabbed in the leg. According to police, officers arrested a 21 year old suspect at the scene, who is now in custody facing possible assault and weapon related charges, for allegedly stabbing a 49 year old man in the leg.
 
The 49 year old victim of the stabbing suffered minor injuries to his leg and faces possible assault-related charges for an earlier altercation.
