With Halloween just around the corner, it's almost time to hit the pumpkin patch. And as most know, a pumpkin can be much more than just carved decor for the doorstep.

Toast or roast the pumpkin seeds, make pumpkin pie, and now... a pumpkin facial. Get your pumpkin faces on without damaging the face with this homemade mask by Erika Katz, author of "Bonding over Beauty, A Mother-Daughter Beauty Guide to Foster Self-Esteem."

Pumpkin Face Mask

2 tsp canned pureed pumpkin
1/2 tsp honey
1/4 tsp heavy whipping cream

Mix all ingredients and apply to face.  Leave on for 10 min and rinse.

"Pumpkin is rich in vitamin A, which is very healing to the skin and is essential to maintain and repair skin tissue.  It also helps reduce lines and wrinkles. Honey is a humectant. The cream moisturizes and helps flaky skin," writes Katz.

Audrina Patridge can be found on Hollywood's Sunset Boulevard on an "insane" billboard sporting a black two-piece.

She says it was insane seeing herself on a huge billboard for her latest Bongo campaign.

"It's gigantic. It's so big. When I saw it, I was like, 'Oh, my god, that's way up close and personal,'" said Patridge to People magazine.

"I'm so appreciative of it. I never in a thousand years thought I'd ever be up there. It's insane, but it's amazing."

25-year-old brunette's, who is the face of the denim brand, advertisement showcases one of the label's new bikinis.

"It was really about promoting the brand's spring and summer lines. Bongo has bathing suits now, which they've never had in the past. I think they really wanted to promote that, and since I'm always in a bikini, it just kind of made sense. It was an amazing shoot," explained Patridge.

Chanel picks Blake Lively for Mademoiselle handbags

Blake Lively is the new face of the Chanel Mademoiselle handbag collection.

Surprised? So was the industry.

The French fashion house made an unexpected decision, choosing a blond American actress over the more traditional choice of a European model.

Chanel's Karl Lagerfeld, who photographed Lively for the Mademoiselle line, adored her and could only offer high praises for TV’s Gossip Girl.

"Blake's spontaneity and fresh, youthful image have convinced Chanel that she is the right person to represent the house and this range of bags," commented a spokesperson for the company.

Lively, too, is convinced that Chanel is the only company for her face.

Justin Bieber: dog tags and fragrance, YouTube video by

Dawgs, get a whiff of this. Justin Bieber is to release a new selection of scented dog tags. Yes, scented.

He's already created two designs for his My World Collection (found at Wal-Mart) with pomegranate scents.

They're called One Less Lonely Girl and Never Say Never.

The tags smell like vanilla, blueberry and strawberry, according to the Lady from the bottom video.

$10 each and hitting stores soon.

But that's not all.

The 17-year-old popstar will also release fragranced bracelets, and this is only the latest from his long list of products. He launched a collection of nail polishes in November.

They sold out quickly.

But while you might think that he's smelling rich (and he is) he is not to touch his $100 million allowance.

"My money is being invested. I only have a credit card, which allows me to spend a certain amount of money every month. If I reach the limit after the first week, I won't be able to buy any more stuff until the month is over. My mom is in control of that," said Bieber.

Liam Gallagher's Pretty Green clothes bring luck

Liam Gallagher's fashion line is Pretty Green, and he says that it brings good luck.

"It's inspired by the 60s and, I suppose, that's about it. Bands and stuff," says Gallagher.

He works with Nicole Appleton, his wife, on the line and says that they are not "reinventing the wheel."

"There's a guy who does it with us, he just comes round and goes through our wardrobes, and anything that looks a bit rubbish or tired we just sort of breathe a bit of life into it," Gallagher explains to Absolute Radio.

So what does he think about Jay-Z's Rocawear?

"You're going to get f***ing arrested wearing his gear and you're going to pull a really nice-looking bird wearing mine."

Beady Eye singer describes his clothing range as timeless, classic and clobber.

Strong lipstick colours this season's hot new thing

Mar 29th, 2011

Ladies, colour your lips bright this season. Get your kissers ready for a top make-up trend that is set to dazzle. The look of spring and summer is anything but bland. It starts with strong hues.

"This spring, strong statement lips lead the way for that 'casual glamour' look. A vibrant lipstick is not to be reserved just for the night, casual glamour is for the day or night and the trick is to keep the skin looking fresh and light so the lips can be the focus of the face," says Daniel Sandler, top make-up artist.

Gwen Stefani and Christina Aguilera are no strangers to the statement-making pouts, and even Sandra Bullock has been known to rock the look.

"A vibrant shade such as Boots 17's Lasting Fix Lipstick in Pink Power will definitely make a statement but there are 20 shades to choose from - take your pick of the bright ones!" insists Sandler.

He advises using colours that suit you and applying them properly.

Cheryl Cole loves to get ready for the red carpet

It takes her two hours to get ready for the red carpet, but Cheryl Cole wants to look her best. And she loves the process.

"It takes me a couple of hours to get red carpet ready. But I love the process of going from wet hair to the end result," Cole said.

"I don't think I'm a high-maintenance girl once I'm out and about."

But no matter where she goes, the 27-year-old must have her must-have accessory: lip gloss. "I always have Glam shine lip gloss because it's easy to put on and you don't need a mirror, which is handy because I always forget to have a mirror in my bag."

So what else lies in the depths of her handbag?

"I carry Telescopic, the mascara I use, and my perfume, which I change all the time. At the moment I use a Jo Malone one, Nectarine and Honey. And a hairbrush," said Cole to Britain's Hello! magazine.

Oh, the glamourous.
