Darcy will bring his "One Skinny Bitch" tour to Vancouver on Father's Day weekend.
BC comedian Darcy Michael will be bringing his hilarious stand-up show "One Skinny Bitch" to Vancouver, with his upcoming performances at Yuk Yuk's on June 15-16.
Michael is one of the industry's fastest rising stars: while his jokes are funny and provocative, his personal story is nothing short of inspring.
This talented comedian worked an astounding 32 jobs before finding his calling in comedy. After recovering from a brief, but serious health scare, Darcy was inspired to turn his life around by focusing on his long-term health. After incorporating exercise and healthy eating habits into his daily life, Darcy underwent a complete transformation, going from a peak of 300 lbs to the lean, athletic size he enjoys today. The comedian currently resides in Ladner, BC, with his husband of eight years, Jeremy, and his teenage daughter, Grace.
The industrious comic has recently become the first Canadian to release his stand up-special "Darcy Michael: One Skinny Bitch" online. Darcy’s Stand Up Special release is modelled after the success of his American counterparts Louis CK, Jim Gaffigan and Aziz Ansari. In following in their footsteps, Darcy is hoping to connect directly to fans who may not be able to attend the live shows.

He's also filming a new comedy talk show, “The Skinny with Darcy Michael”, produced by Frantic Films. Filmed in Winnipeg, Darcy’s guests include Alan Thicke, Caroline Rhea, Judy Gold, David Steinberg, Harland Williams and many more.
