Fruition Day Spa

Located in a tranquil area of North Vancouver, Fruition Day Spa is luxury and relaxation all-in-one - providing pampering services from manicures, pedicures, and waxing to facials, massages, and make-up applications. The space is boutique style with three treatment rooms and a reception area filled with local and quality beauty products, such as Dermalogica, Principessa Beauty, Beauty Through Balance, Jane Iredale, and St. Tropez. When you walk in, you are welcomed to soothing music, warm walls, and friendly staff.

In trying out Fruition Day Spa - I chose to try the manicure and pedicure combo, and brought my sister along for some girl bonding time. It was definitely a wonderful choice!

The Manicure

Upon sitting down, I was presented with a tasty treat – a custom Fruition Day Spa medallion chocolate from Charlie’s Chocolate Factory. This was definitely a fun touch and set the tone for the entire treatment. Laura Gobbo was my esthetician, and she was fantastic!

I was already wearing a dark nail polish, and she did everything she could to remove all of it. My cuticles were nicely pushed back, my nails buffed and filed precisely. I also got a nice mini-hand massage with a delicious smelling Beauty through Balance lotion. Beauty Through Balance is local company and made right in Vancouver. Fruition Spa uses OPI products, and I selected Suzi Skis in the Pyrenees.

You know when you’ve received a great manicure when it’s lasted more than a week without chipping or losing its sheen!

The Spa Pedicure

This was definitely the best pedicure I’ve ever experienced, hands down. To start, my feet were soaked in a sanitary stainless basin filled with warm water and rocks. Then, I was moved to a spa reclinable bed for the rest of the treatment. In addition to being given a warm neck buddy, the lights were turned down low for the ultimate relaxation. I pretty much almost fell asleep during the massage part, where a Beauty Through Balance lotion was also used.

Fruition uses this special buffer tool instead of a foot scrubber to rid your feet of unwanted callouses. I have to say, it works much better, and made my feet smoother than ever. For my feet, I selected OPI’s Panda-monium Pink.

If you ever want to indulge in the most relaxing pedicure, this is it!

Fruition Day Spa exceeded my expectations, and I’ll definitely be going back. In fact, they offer the hot trend of soak-off gel nails I’ve been dying to try by Canadian company Bio Sculpture Gel Nails, which promotes the growth of natural nails, leaves them strong but flexible, and is available in many colours.
