It's official: the winter hibernation is over...at least in Vancouver! There are loads of events happening that will put spring in your step, from eco-films and pillow fights to art, design and music. Go solo or grab a couple friends to check out some culturally diverse, community building and engaging events.

The Design Nerd Jam on Friday will be hosted by the Gramorail Crew. Come out to help plan the long-anticipated Pedal Powered Railway Parade! The Gramorail will take its maiden voyage down the Arbutus Corridor, and we need you to help make the Parade awesome. Learn more about Gramorail's vision and history: www.gramorail.org.

3. The Living Expo
Mar 31 | 5 PM | Beaumont Studios | $10
The Living Expo is an evening of documentary films, guest speakers and local products and services. It features a showcase of three 20-minute films from The Story of Stuff series. A panel of local experts will offer Vancouver based solutions and answer questions about creating a more sustainable lifestyle. As well there are tables featuring local vendors with products and information that offer sustainable solutions to the problems highlighted by the films.
